No. of Channels: 1 (on both Roku and Amazon Fire TV)
No. of initial videos: 6
We create one CTV channel for your business. This will be on both the Roku and Amazon Fire TV networks. The same videos will be used on both networks, adapted where necessary to allow for any small differences in specification requirements.
Creation of the channel also includes the creation and installation of all necessary photographs and graphics needed by the service networks – and seen by your channel viewers. If there are specific images or logos you wish to employ within the channel artwork, you can supply these to us for incorporation.
The setup package enables you to supply us with 6 initial videos needed for channel creation and approval. Video length can be between 5 and 58 minutes and should be in MP4 HD format (1280x720px).
We will process the videos in order for them to meet the necessary technical requirements for satisfactory streaming.
If you have your own standard intros/outros, you can supply these as separate video files and we can incorporate them into the supplied videos (or you can supply the videos with these already included).
If you require us to create logos, intros, outros, or other graphics/animations, we can do this as an Optional Extra service at additional and reasonable cost.
Trick-play or trick-mode are a stream of still images that provide visual clues to viewers as they fast-forward, rewind or search through a digital video player or Smart TV for a particular scene. We generate and host the Trick-Play files for all videos streamed through your hosted channel(s).
We provide hosting of your videos and the necessary Trick Play files on reliable high speed servers appropriate for video on demand (VOD) streaming.
As an integral part of the service, all supplied video material will be reviewed against the network service content guidelines, taking into account international copyright and other legal requirements. We then submit to the applicable networks for their review and approval.
We recommend submitting between 6-8 videos for the initial channel approval (the same for both networks). This will help keep the service review period to a reasonable time in order for channels to go live as quickly as possible. This is typically 1-2 weeks following submission.
As part of this service plan, monthly maintenance will keep your channel live on the networks. It also includes the uploading of one new video per month to the channel.
Following initial channel launch, it is recommended that at least one new video is added every month in order to keep the content fresh and retain viewership.
We will be happy to quote for provision of any of the Optional Extra services based on your precise requirements. Just get in touch.
We can also quote for the provision of multiple channels.
